The goal of this mobile money application is to make it easier for people in Uganda to access financial services by providing a secure, accessible, and user-friendly platform. It aims to make mobile banking easier, cheaper, and more secure.

Designed with careful attention to contrast and readability, the dark theme ensures a comfortable user experience in low-light environments. The app's color palettes, icons, and text have been thoughtfully designed to maintain clarity and accessibility, providing all features are as intuitive and functional as in the light theme.
Additionally, I used variables in Figma to make the design process smoother, allowing for easy updates and consistency across all screens. This approach creates a cohesive user experience and simplifies maintenance.

Working on this MVP concept for a mobile money app in Uganda was both challenging and rewarding. Exploring the unique needs and technological landscape of the African market, particularly Uganda, gave me a new perspective as a designer.
This project highlighted the importance of empathy-driven design and the need to adapt ideas to local contexts in order to create meaningful and practical solutions. I will carry these learnings into future projects, continue to explore new markets, and keep growing through design.
